After a very successful first year at the Plant & Animal Genome Conference (PAG), SMARTtray® and its team will be exhibiting again this year in San Diego. From January 10-15, the world’s largest ag genomics meeting will once again open its doors.
PAG as an important scientific meeting for the industry
The Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG) is a leading international event in the field of genome research for plants and animals. It is held annually in San Diego, California, and brings together scientists, breeders and industry representatives. The conference features live and poster presentations, workshops and exhibits covering current advances in genomics, biotechnology and breeding. PAG is known for exchanging ideas and fostering collaborations in agricultural genomics.
SMARTtray® at booth 426 in the Exhibiton Hall
The SMARTtray® team will be available for a lively exchange with all interested visitors from Sunday to Tuesday in the exhibition area of the conference, the Exhibiton Hall, at stand 426. Information about the entire workflow will be provided on site and the SMARTtray® devices including the grown plants can be viewed.
Side trip: UC Davis – Innovators Showcase
In the run-up to the PAG, the team will also be at the University of California in Davis, the university center of the industry in the USA. The annual Innovators Showcase will take place there on January 9. The Innovators Showcase at UC Davis is an event organized by Seed Central. It offers start-ups and innovative companies from the fields of plant breeding, agriculture, biotechnology and food technology a platform to present their technologies and solutions. The event includes presentations, networking opportunities and discussions with experts from science and industry. The aim is to promote the exchange between research and practice and to support innovative approaches in the seed industry.
In addition to the event in Davis, the team is planning several visits to partner companies in the area.
